little girl cultural differences

Some little girls are singing flamenco across the street right now! It’s adorable. Maybe they just came came from a dance class, I don’t know but I love it! I can even hear their little shoes clapping on the tiled floor. It’s like when I was a little girl, we used to skip or play hand-clapping games. This just seems s much more, Spanish.

Unfortunately, they changed their songs to pop hits and now a car with speakers has now come around announcing a meeting for some political party – totally cutting them off.

I guess it was like when Juan used to get emotional in Canada watching the morning crossing guards doing their jobs while driving to work. He thought they were the quintessential North American image, wearing their florescent vests and waving flags.
